Is your missing piece, inner peace?
Counselling doesn’t have to be a lengthy process that focuses on a person’s past and can be a way of working out where you go from where you are.
I like to explain the process of counselling as similar to a train journey, in that a person can get off the train at any station along the line, either permanently or until they feel ready to get back on and travel some more.
I believe that everybody is capable of change and that sometimes we just need to join in the collaborative process of therapeutic counselling to explore our inner resources and to equip ourselves with the tools to make change happen.
There are many tools that I can support you with in the process of change and the main training that I have had is in the humanistic models of Gestalt, Person Centred & Transactional Analysis. I also have training in BSFT (Brief Solution Focused Therapy) and MI (Motivational Interviewing).
If you prefer, then we are able to work together in more creative ways such as through percussion, sand tray, art or puppets.
